NINTENDO DS

Post by Stealth2800 on Wed Mar 26, 2008 10:33 am

Ok, this is obviously my favorite handheld system because my name is DSdude10. I won't say what the 10 stands for though. The DS is the only game system I have so far, soon I am getting a Wii (hopefully) Anyways, talk about the DS in this area

that feature is really cool!

I played Mario Kart DS demo with Dark_Guardian. I won and now I know hot Mario Kart DS was the best racing game on the DS

I use the touch screen. It's great that they invented the touch screen on the DS.

On the DS, I liked the picto chat and download features, because you can do a lot of stuff on those things and they can help you develop your game further.

I think the Download Play Feature is the best one out of the two, because you can play heaps of demos with it and even play certain DS cartridge games with it.

The picto-chat is fun, when you're a bit far than someone you haven't met, because it helps you communicate with them nearby and you can make impressive drawings that you can't save.

I think the Nintendo DS games that we have at the moment are:

  • Animal Crossing: Wild World (broken)
  • Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
  • Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
  • Pokemon Dash

Re: NINTENDO DS

Post by Dark Guardian on Sat Jan 24, 2009 9:42 am

I know the massive differences of the nintendo DS and the Gameboy Advance/SP:

  • 3D polygons are used, so the old-cartoonish ones have amazingly improved.
  • There's a lot of memory within a DS game chip than the Gameboy Advance cartridge, but it's small physical appearance may easily get it lost or broken.
  • Wireless features are built-in to the handheld gaming device, so that you don't have to buy extras to make the wireless feature available.
  • A bit sturdier cover, so that it can sustain more damage than the gameboy advance.

I hope this interests people to liking it. Smile

whoa, Mayu posted about all of our DS games. I think we gave around 4 or five DS games at the moment. It's not much, but they're heaps fun to play with.

Dark_Guardian nearly finished all of the games, except for Pokemon Dash. This was one of those early pokemon-franchised games that came out on DS, it was really tiring and challenging to complete. It's still not finished, sadly.

5 years for your top screen to become loose? It took me 2 months and now the Top screen is seprate. That's how I ended up getting a new Black DS.

When I had Pokémon Dash, It was in a different language and I got it when the first DS ever came out. I never beat it and I gave it away to Game Stop.
