thank you. On the DSi, i found out that it doesn't reflect like the DS lite does.

the DS lite can last for hours working. Maybe the DSi can last longer, since the space that took place for the GBA slot might be the widened internal battery. I'm not sure though.

It takes the DS lite approx. 3 hours to charge and the DSi approx. 2 and a half hours but the DS lite battery lasts longer

I wonder, is it possible to take screenshots of the DS cartidge gameplay with the DSi?
It would be amazing if that was snuck into the console before they are sold or it might be a downloadable feature. study

Yeah. that really would be cool. Animal Crossing: City Folk certainly has one, I remember hearing. I would love to someday take pictures of my Animal Crossing characters and town and put them up somewhere!

has anyone gotten any apps for the DSi? I have Birds and Beans, WarioWare Snapped, the Animal Crossing Clock thing-a-ma-bob, and I just got RS09 (Real Soccer 09) which is an AWESOME game

The dsi looks cool, but is it really that more of an improvement from the dslite? I mean, other than the camera. Because, I just recently got a DS lite (like last summer).

yeah, it's like a whole other thing, it has a camera, sd card slot allowing you to store songs and photos, it has the internet, a DSi shop like the Wii, you're able to update it like the Wii, and more

I'm sure that you will be loving the built-in applications inside the DSi. It really manipulates media in a new sort of way, which is really fun!

Re: Nintendo DSi

Post by Yami on Thu Jan 14, 2010 6:56 am

I went from Original DS (Phat) to the DSi, and I must say it's a great update. I don't miss the GBA slot, since I only have two GBA games myself. I made a few really good looking pictures with my DSi, but they practically only look good on the DSi, so I kept the pictures there as start-up pictures. The menu looks way better than the DS or DS Lite, in my opinion, however, the long horizontal is kind of messy.
I love how you can download applications for your DSi system easily with the online Shop. Two free applications, Internet Browser and Hatena FlipNote Studio. Flipnote is fun when you're bored.
I also recently downloaded Bomberman Blitz for 500 Points, it can be played online via Wi-Fi. That's also a positive thing, downloading games which can be played online. I also downloaded the Animal Crossing Clock, which is great for waking me up, since it also has an alarm.
The SD compatibility is also very positive, since the DSi can play music, which is also great (!). Now I can wake up in the morning, turn my DS on (if it's not already on) and play my favourite songs immediately. The quality isn't that great, but the sound quality is better than the DS Lite, in my opinion.
The screens are slightly bigger (3.25" instead of 3") and I don't really know what to think of it yet, other than think that the screens of my Original DS are small when I use it.
Adjusting brightness with the DSi is very easy, just hold the Select button and adjust the brightness with the Volume buttons. This is a feature I'm not sure the DS Lite didn't have, but as far as I know, it didn't.
Also, all the stuff about not having to turn off the DSi in order to return to the DSi menu is very cool, too.

I bought a Nintendo DSi and I'm happy I did. Although, now I don't have any money whatsoever. Sad

P.S.: Long post is looong. I hope you don't mind. Embarassed
