The Wii can play old games. You buy them in the Wii Shop Channel. Some you need a gamecube/classic controller, while others you can use just the wii remote.

I used to have a nintendo 64, but I was too young to realised that is was a really fun game console. I missed playing Super Mario 64. I made Mario make a lot of sounds when he fights the monters, especially when Mario throws Bower into a lifted bomb.

I remember how the nintendo 64 died out. Ever since there's simple faults like tilting the game cartridge can cause a freezing effect and bugs (for example cockroaches.) crawling inside the game console itself.

Our nintendo 64 broke, when a cockroach climbed into the cartridge slot after the game cartridge was inserted into the nintendo 64.

How much stars did you get on Super Mario 64?

It was my very first nintendo 64 game and I earned 119 stars as the furthest.

The nintendo 64 looks like it has an arch in the front and the top of a Nintendo 64 game cartridge also has an arch on the top of it.

I hope this helps.

Once in real life, the joy stick was soo loose, it was difficult to tilt the stick without over- tilting it

Around 1990-2003, the nintendo was popular to Australians. Nearly every new game was a commercial, especially the one about "super smash brothers".

the N64 went out of style because the PS1 came out around that time. people were more interested in the new compact disc way of playing more than silly game cartridges.

I remember that. My Nintendo 64 kept attracting cockroaches, for some reason. When it made eggs in there, it stopped working altogether.

lol, yes they can with their antennas, there are receptors they they use to smell things. Or are those what ant do?
Anyway, I think they got attracted to the crumbs of food that falls into it. It used to be located in the kitchen for a long time now. Smile

Ohh, I see...poor Nintendo 64! But I'm just wondering...when was the Nintendo 64 like the DS or the Wii - I mean, when was it something people played with lots, something popular? (It might still be but I don't see Nintendo advertising Nintendo 64s...) tongue

they were heaps popular from 1994-2004, when the nintendo gamecube tried to become popular and failed. Luckily Nintendo had a Wii.

I remember the most memorable nintendo 64 game that everyone must've had: Super Mario 64 Smile
